ECJ's Kimberly Lewis Obtains $1.88 Million Judgment

12.10.2013

ECJ attorney Kimberly Lewis, with assistance from Faye Rasch, John Shenk and Byron Moldo, obtained a $1.88 million federal court judgment against parties who received fraudulent transfers arising out of a securities fraud case and for converting property that was ordered to be turned over to the court’s receiver, ECJ partner Peter A. Davidson. The judgment was unusual because it was based, in part, on the defendants having engaged in evidence spoliation, their subsequent refusal to comply with court orders and the granting of the receiver’s motion for terminating sanctions.

Kimberly D. Lewis is Of Counsel to ECJ’s Litigation Department and practices in all areas of business litigation, environmental and insurance coverage.
