Kimberly D. Lewis is Of Counsel to ECJ’s Litigation Department. Ms. Lewis practices in all areas of business litigation, environmental and insurance coverage, and provides her clients with an aggressive and cost effective representation.

Ms. Lewis specializes in insurance coverage, environmental compliance and complex business and real property litigation. She represents a wide spectrum of clients including insurers, policy holders, property owners, developers, purchasers, business owners and landlords and tenants. She has been lead counsel in numerous bench trials and binding arbitrations, and has obtained favorable settlements for her clients in large multi-party matters involving substantial claims at both the pre-litigation stage and at mediations. She has represented numerous insurers and policy holders in matters involving commercial general liability, errors and omissions, and property policies. Her environmental/land use experience includes representation of clients in litigation and regulatory compliance matters, as well as litigation involving claims under CERCLA and HSAA.

Ms. Lewis graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Economy of Natural Resources. She received her legal education at Loyola of Los Angeles Law School (J.D., 1988), where she served as both a staff member and Articles Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Journal. She was admitted to the California Bar in December 1988.
