11.01.2016

Ervin Cohen & Jessup Trial Attorney was one of only 100 Nominees in all award categories

Barry MacNaughton, the Managing Partner at Ervin Cohen & Jessup LLP, was recognized at this month’s Los Angeles Business Journal Leaders in Law Awards for his exceptional legal skills and vast experience in business and commercial litigation.

“Barry is the consummate professional, and this nomination by the city’s top business paper properly reflects the problem solving solutions that Barry provides daily to the firm’s clients,” said Byron Z. Moldo, who serves on the firm’s management committee and who is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Receivership and Reorganization Practice. “Barry works tirelessly to provide leadership to the firm’s professionals and to our clients.”

The Los Angeles Business Journal nominated only 100 of Los Angeles’ most influential attorneys in order to publicly recognize each of them for their distinctive impact in their practice areas and the Los Angeles business community.

Winners included Michael B. Cahill of City National Bank, Carla Christofferson of AECOM and Jim Perzik of The Los Angeles Lakers.

MacNaughton’s law practice focuses on business and commercial litigation with an emphasis on real estate matters, specific performance, eminent domain, purchase and sale disputes and partnership disputes. He has significant experience litigating contract disputes, trade secret and unfair competition litigation, trademark rights, litigation over corporate governance matters and insurance bad faith and coverage litigation.
