Pooja S. Nair, Chair of ECJ’s Food, Beverage and Hospitality Department, will speak at the Washington State Bar Association's Legal Considerations for the Food, Beverage and Hospitality Industry conference on February 18th. 

This half-day seminar will provide an overview of legal considerations for the food, beverage and hospitality industries. The seminar will cover recent trends in consumer litigation and deceptive advertising, intellectual property and the inclusion of cannabis in consumer products. 

Join Pooja at 8:30 am for her presentation titled "Trends in Litigation and Regulations in Product Labeling and Advertising: What the Food and Beverage Industry Needs to Know." Her presentation will discuss the evolving definition of the "reasonable consumer" standard and proposed rules by federal and state agencies regarding advertising and labeling.
