ECJ Partners Gary Michel and Ken Luer recently spoke in front of a Southern California CPA group on the topic of “Equity Compensation.” The presentation included a discussion of the key forms of equity compensation and some of the principal issues to be considered in designing or reviewing common forms of equity compensation arrangements.

Gary Q. Michel chairs ECJ’s Tax Department and has more than 30 years of tax and business law experience serving as business advisor and tax specialist to his clients. Gary counsels individuals, families and business enterprises of all stripes in sophisticated business transactions, especially the tax issues arising from them.

Kenneth A. Luer is a partner in ECJ’s Business and Corporate Law Department. His practice focuses on entrepreneurs, established companies, and family-owned businesses. His expertise includes business law, forming and reorganizing companies, contracts, equity and debt financings, I/P and technology licensing, and mergers & acquisitions.
