Partners Byron Moldo and Blake Alsbrook to Speak at CRF's Loyola VIII Symposium

Byron Z. Moldo and Blake Alsbrook, Partners in ECJ's Bankruptcy, Receivership and Creditors’ Rights Department, will be speaking at the 2020 California Receivers Forum's Loyola VIII Symposium being held in Orange County, California. This two-day symposium, entitled "Connect to a Changing Economic Future," will focus on the impact of the economy on the receivership industry.

Byron will be moderating the "Ask the Receiver" panel, which will address the most interesting and significant questions submitted by Symposium participants. Blake will moderate the "Health and Safety and the California Housing Crisis" panel.

Byron’s legal career has specialized in bankruptcy, receivership, assignments for the benefit of creditors and all aspects of insolvency. He regularly serves as a Receiver in state and federal court cases, as assignee for the benefit of creditors and as a fiduciary in other court-supervised matters. 

Blake acts as a receiver and counsel for prominent receivers throughout California appointed to general equity, Family Code, rents and profits, Health and Safety Code, and regulatory receiverships. He also acts as and represents partition referees around the state and advises provisional directors of myriad businesses with compromised boards of directors.

The California Receivers forum is a non-profit organization that addresses the needs of receivers. The organization is formed by receivers, attorneys, accountants, real estate brokers, property managers with support from the Los Angeles Superior Court. They facilitate communication between the receivership community and the courts, and assist in raising the level of professionalism of receivers throughout the state. The California Receivers Forum is presented in conjunction with Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
