Pooja S. Nair, Partner and Chair of ECJ’s Food, Beverage and Hospitality Department, was featured on NutraWomen Wednesday, a NutraIngredients-USA series on the women behind wellness. Pooja joined host Danielle Masterson to discuss her practice and the influences behind her career.

Pooja spoke about her inspiration and motivation behind becoming an attorney and why she is so passionate about the food and beverage industry. She takes pride in her career as an attorney as she follows in her grandmother's footsteps of practicing law. Pooja knew early on that she wanted to be a lawyer and her "grandmother was one of the first female lawyers in the state that she lived in India" so she was always drawn to a career in law. She also touched upon being on the board of directors of organizations such as Los Angeles Music and Arts School and the Harvard Club of Southern California. She is also an Alexander Hamilton enthusiast and started a legal history blog when she started practicing law.
