Byron Z. Moldo, Partner and Chair of ECJ's Bankruptcy, Receivership and Creditors’ Rights Department was quoted in the Los Angeles Times. The article discusses the auction of the mega-mansion known as The One and the fight among creditors.

According to the article, the property was auctioned off in March 2022 for less than half of its $295 million list price, resulting in $250 million in claims against the estate. One lender has filed a lawsuit claiming unfair business practices and alleging forgery of a document. According to Byron, “there are going to be voluminous documents to review. I can see the need for a handwriting expert,” he said. “This is going to become very, very expensive.” Byron also stated that the lawsuit could delay the resolution of the property's bankruptcy and could create pressure for the parties to settle.
