Kelly Scott Quoted in Daily Journal Discussing New Wage Theft Class Action

Nine separate class actions have been filed in the past three months alleging that employers such as Gap, Inc. and Abercrombie & Fitch Co. have failed to properly pay employees for showing up and calling in to work. Kelly Scott, head of ECJ’s Employment Law department, was quoted in the Daily Journal’s article “Defense lawyers concerned about on-call scheduling litigation wave,” which delves into this new wave of class action litigation, its origins and the possible repercussions for California employers.
