Ori S. Blumenfeld is Of Counsel in the Bankruptcy, Receivership and Creditors’ Rights Department.
Ori focuses his practice in all areas of Bankruptcy and Insolvency, as well as State and Federal Receiverships. Ori represents both secured creditors and debtors in bankruptcy related matters involving reorganization, distressed assets, asset sales and related litigation matters.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ori graduated from UC Berkeley in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He received his J.D. from The University of West Los Angeles School of Law.
Mr. Blumenfeld is not an employee of Ervin Cohen & Jessup LLP. As Of Counsel to the Firm, he is an independent attorney with a separate law practice that handles matters and clients having no affiliation with the Firm, who also works on certain specific matters for the Firm on a contract and case by case basis. His work is not affiliated with ECJ unless the client has a current written engagement letter with our firm.
