Ervin Cohen & Jessup has broad experience representing new media and technology companies. Our technology law group advises these clients on a wide variety of matters including corporate finance, securities law issues, M&A, labor and employment law, and litigation matters all with a special focus and sensitivity to the intricacies of intellectual property law. In conjunction with these efforts, we advise clients on leveraging the strength of their IP portfolios through domestic and international licensing and distribution deals, strategic alliance agreements, and joint ventures. We also work closely with our clients’ information technology consultants, human resources advisors, and C-level executives to protect their IP through the development and implementation of sophisticated trade secrets programs. Clients in our new media and technology group include web-based companies, software developers, IT consultants, digital security providers, data storage facilities, hi-tech communications providers, social networking sites, website designers, green technology companies, online marketing and branding advisors, digital entertainment companies, and related industries.
