Ervin Cohen & Jessup’s Pantea Yashar Elected to Executive Board of Harvard Law School Association

Ervin Cohen & Jessup is pleased to announce that Pantea Yashar, a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, has been elected to serve on the Executive Board of the Harvard Law School Association (HLSA).

“We are proud of the leadership that Pantea demonstrates within our firm and among various organizations in the community,” said the firm’s Co-Managing Partner Barry MacNaughton.

The oldest association of its kind, the HLSA has been a Harvard Law School institution since its formation in 1886. It serves more than 40,000 Harvard Law School students and alumni by supporting and sponsoring programming and events across the world.

Yashar served as the President of the Harvard Law School Association of Los Angeles from January 2017 to January 2019. Within the Los Angeles business community, she also served as the Past First Vice Chair of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and has been named to the Southern California Super Lawyers list (2017, 2018 and 2019).

Yashar’s practice is focused on real estate and business litigation with extensive experience in representing commercial and residential developers and property owners in contract, landlord/tenant, quiet title, easement, partition, adverse possession, trespass, nuisance, and lease disputes. She earned a B.A. from UCLA before attending Harvard Law School where she received her J.D.
