Shane Devins is an Associate in the Real Estate Department.
Shane’s experience touches nearly all aspects of transactional real estate and business law. His practice at ECJ primarily focuses on acquisitions and dispositions and asset management (including leasing and property management) of multi-family, retail, office, and industrial asset classes. Shane also has extensive experience in the drafting and negotiation of design, construction, and development contracts, including AIA and ConsensusDocs form documents.
Prior to joining ECJ, Shane was an associate attorney at a Chicago-based law firm and represented international entities in the acquisition, disposition, construction and development of real estate in the United States. Shane also worked on cross-border financing transactions involving international entities acting as lender to U.S.-based entities and individuals.
Shane was named a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2016 and was also accepted into NAIOP SoCal’s Young Professionals Group for the Class of 2016-17.
He is active in the community and serves as the Chair of the Associate Board for Shelter Partnership, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to alleviating, preventing, and ending homelessness in Los Angeles County. Additionally, he previously served as a Commissioner for the City of Long Beach Human Relations Commission.
