ECJ Closes Cinram Acquisition of Assets of Ditan Corporation

Ervin, Cohen & Jessup, LLP partners Howard Berman and Ken Luer, with the assistance of ECJ attorneys Debra James and Brandt Mori, represented ECJ client Cinram International (TSX: CRW.UN) in Cinram’s acquisition of all of the assets of New Jersey based Ditan Corporation, the leading third-party interactive software games distribution company in the United States.  Cinram paid $50 million in cash for Ditan Corporation, subject to working capital adjustments, and will pay additional cash consideration if certain future performance metrics are met.  Cinram International is the world’s largest provider of pre-recorded multimedia products and related logistics services, and manufactures and distributes pre-recorded DVDs, audio CDs and CD-ROMs for motion picture studios, music labels, publishers and computer software companies around the world.
