ECJ Closes Merger of Bright Medical Associates and Presbyterian Health Physicians

ECJ attorneys Gary Michel, Randy Leff, Debra James and Lauralee Gooch represented Bright Medical Associates, a major independent physician association, in its merger with Presbyterian Health Physicians.  The transaction closed on January 31, 2008 and involved asset transfers, the assignment of health plan provider agreements and the negotiation of an extended term professional services agreement.  Both physician groups are based in Whittier, California, and Bright Health Physicians now consists of 475 healthcare professionals.
