July 27th, 2010 – Discrimination and Harassment Investigations

This presentation will cover when an investigation is warranted and how to conduct it.  Difficult issues such as who should conduct the investigation, who should be interviewed and in what order, and how to document the investigation will be discussed.  Attendees will be provided with tips on procedures for proper questioning, collecting relevant evidence and reviewing the evidence collected.  How to conclude an internal investigation and when to impose disciplinary actions will also be addressed.
